Product Description

High Strength Fiberglass Screw Rebar Gfrp Composite Rebar for Corrosion Resistance & Structural Reinforcement

Our Fiberglass Screw Rebar (GFRP Composite Rebar) is a revolutionary solution for reinforcing concrete structures with high durability and corrosion resistance. Made from Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP), this composite rebar offers exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, excellent resistance to corrosion, and superior bonding with concrete. The innovative screw thread design enhances the mechanical interlock between the rebar and concrete, making it ideal for applications in highly corrosive environments such as coastal areas, tunnels, and industrial facilities.

2) Product Advantages:
1. High tensile strength: The tensile strength of glass fiber reinforcement is better than that of ordinary steel bars, which is 20% higher than that of steel bars of the same specification, and has good fatigue resistance.
2. Light weight: The quality of glass fiber reinforcement is only 1/4 of the same volume of steel, and the density is between 1.5 and 1.9 (g/cm3).
3. Strong corrosion resistance: corrosion resistance of chemicals such as acid and alkali can resist the corrosion of chlorideions and low pH solutions, especially the corrosion resistance of carbon compounds and  compounds.
4. Strong material binding force: The thermal expansion coefficient of glass fiber reinforcement is closer to cement than steel, because glass fiber reinforcement and concrete have stronger binding force.
5. Strong designability: The elastic modulus of the glass fiber ribs is stable, the size is stable under thermal stress, and the bending and other shapes can be heat-formed arbitrarily, and the safety performance is good. There will be no sparks when colliding with metal.
6. Strong magnetic permeability: The glass fiber reinforcement is a non-magnetic material, and it is not necessary to demagnetize the non-magnetic or electromagnetic concrete components.
7. Convenient construction: The glass fiber reinforcement can produce various standard and non-standard parts with different sections and lengths according to user requirements. Non-metallic tension bands can be used for on-site binding, which is simple to operate.

3) Usage scenarios:

(1)Rail transit(subway) :
Problem: the reinforced diaphragm wall or maintenance pile must be cut in the retaining wall of the tunnel entrance and exit. TBM can't cut the reinforced concrete structure effectively, that is, the artificial reinforcement is broken. Increase the labor intensity of workers and increase the period of tunnel excavation.
Solution: GFRP reinforcement cage can be easily cut for general machinery, especially for anti-corrosion conditions, its material performance even exceeds that of reinforcement. That is to say, GFRP reinforcement is used to replace the reinforcement in the design and construction of concrete structure. Mainly according to gb50608-2010, JGT 406-2013, etc. It reduces the safety risks of sand, mud and water gushing, reduces the construction period and reduces the comprehensive cost.

(4) Road and Bridge:
FRP rebar are used in highway scale instead of steel bars, and bridge panel accessories are used
Features: high strength, corrosion resistance, light weight, design, convenient construction, etc. Jishuang expressway is a typical weather in Northeast China. It is necessary to solve the problem of corrosion of steel bars and damage of structures by using industrial salt to remove snow and ice. After a large number of acid ions such as chloride ions in salt and snow melting agent infiltrate into concrete with salt water, they react with iron in steel bars, accelerate the corrosion and expansion of iron, lead to peeling of protective layer, and finally lead to structural damage of bridges and roads.

High Strength Fiberglass Screw Rebar Gfrp Composite Rebar for Corrosion Resistance & Structural Reinforcement
Key Features
  • Superior Corrosion Resistance: Unlike traditional steel rebar, GFRP composite rebar is immune to rust and corrosion, ensuring longer service life in harsh environments.
  • High Strength-to-Weight Ratio: Offers excellent mechanical properties while being lightweight, making it easier to handle and reduce transportation costs.
  • Innovative Screw Thread Design: The screw thread pattern provides superior grip and bond strength between the rebar and concrete, enhancing structural stability.
  • Non-Magnetic & Non-Conductive: Ideal for applications where electromagnetic interference or electrical conductivity is a concern, such as in electrical installations and MRI rooms.
  • Sustainable & Eco-Friendly: Made from sustainable materials, GFRP rebar reduces the environmental impact while providing long-lasting structural support.
Applications

  • Infrastructure & Construction: Perfect for reinforcing bridges, highways, and parking structures where corrosion resistance is critical.
  • Marine & Coastal Structures: Used in seawalls, piers, and docks due to its exceptional resistance to saltwater corrosion.
  • Tunnels & Underground Structures: Ideal for tunnels, basements, and underground applications, where environmental conditions require corrosion-resistant materials.
  • Industrial & Chemical Plants: Used in environments where exposure to chemicals, acids, or alkalis is prevalent.
  • Power Plants & Electrical Installations: Non-magnetic and non-conductive, making it a safe option for electrical installations and sensitive applications.
